Chanukah Reception at Guildhall

On the 12th December it was wonderful to see the annual Chanukah reception at Guildhall - and to launch the City Jewish Network, one of a family of City Belonging Networks that will be launched as part of my mayoral theme “Growth Unleashed”.

The event featured speeches from Sheriff Gregory Jones KC, Justice Minister Sarah Sackman KC MP and television presenter Rachel Riley MBE.

The City Jewish Network brings together representatives of the Jewish community at Square Mile workplaces, to:

- Create and promote opportunities for the community to meet one another through events and activities, and feel a sense of belonging.
- Support the City of London Corporation and other City institutions to be the best possible ally to the Jewish community.
- Promote engagement from members of the Jewish community in the civic and cultural life of the Square Mile.
